Thermo Pride Announces Burner Change to OME Mobile Home Oil Furnace
by HVAC Distributors October 15, 2024Thermo Products Inc. (Thermo Pride and Spirit oil furnaces and Thermo Pride mobile home furnaces) has announced a change to the burner used in the Thermo Pride OME mobile home oil furnace.
Background:
- The burner used in the OME mobile home oil furnace has historically been the Beckett AFG burner, factory-installed.
- Thermo Pride is changing the burner to the Carlin EZ burner, also factory-installed (view the table to the right).
- The change will be phased in with no change to the model number, UPC, or pricing.
Federal Tax Credit:
The OME-72-T36 (.471682) with ECM blower motor now qualifies for the federal 25C tax credit for 30% of the cost, up to $600.
Service Parts:
- HVAC Distributors will be stocking the key Carlin burner service parts.
