  • 1987

    HVAC Distributors is founded in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania

  • 1997

    First distributor in the Central PA region to offer a “Just-in-Time” supply chain delivery policy.

  • 1999

    First distributor in the Central PA region to barcode product to improve order accuracy and efficiency of delivery.

  • 2006

    HVAC Distributors acquired IDE Air, Inc. of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and opened a location in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

  • 2007

    HVAC Distributors acquired Hummer Equipment Company of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

  • 2010

    HVAC Distributors opens new locations in State College, Pennsylvania and Warminster, Pennsylvania.

  • 2014

    HVAC Distributors acquired GBG, Inc. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with additional locations in Youngwood, Pennsylvania; Buffalo, New York; Rochester, New York, and Syracuse, New York, and opened new locations in Aston, Pennsylvania; Columbia, Maryland, and Chantilly, Virginia.

    HVAC Distributors recognized as one of Central Penn Business Journal’s Top 100 Privately Held Businesses

  • 2016

    HVAC Distributors named one of the Top 50 Distributors in the United States by ACHR News.

  • 2016

    HVAC Distributors named the top regional certifier (Mid-Atlantic) by North American Technical Excellence (NATE).

  • 2017

    HVAC Distributors named one of the Top 50 Distributors in the United States by ACHR News for the second year in a row.

  • 2018
