2020 Limited Warranty Enhancements On Select Amana, Goodman, & GMC Units

Goodman Manufacturing continues as a leader in the HVAC industry with regard to providing outstanding warranty coverage. Select Goodman and Amana brand units installed on or after February 1, 2020 now qualify for a 2-Year Unit Replacement Limited Warranty.

Which units are covered by these enhanced Limited Warranties?
Goodman and Amana brand units manufactured on, or after, January 1, 2019, (serial number 1901XXXXXX and newer) will retroactively qualify for the 2-Year Unit Replacement Limited Warranty, and GMC brand units will qualify for 7-Year Parts and Compressor Limited Warranties.

Do the enhanced Limited Warranties replace the current ones?
All current limited warranty coverage on the eligible products remain in effect. The 2-Year Unit Replacement Limited Warranty is additional to legacy limited warranty coverage on Amana and Goodman products. The 2-Year Unit Replacement Limited Warranty is activated should the compressor in a split system air conditioner or heat pump or the tubular heat exchanger in the gas furnace fail to the original homeowner. All enhanced limited warranty coverages for all brands require that the unit is properly registered online within 60 days after the installation date.

Amana Brand Units – 2-Year Replacement Limited Warranty

Condensing units – ASX14, ANX14, ASX13, ANX13, ASZ14, and ANZ14
Gas furnaces – AMES92, AMES80, ACES80
Residential Packaged Units – APC14H, APC14M, APH16H, APH16M, APH14H, APH14M, APD14, APG16M, and APG14M

Goodman Brand Units – 2-Year Replacement Limited Warranty

Condensing units – GSX16, GSX14, GSX13, GSZ16, and GSZ14
Gas furnaces – GMES92, GMES80, GCES80
Residential Packaged Units – GPC15H, GPC14H, GPC14M, GPH16H, GPH16M, GPH14H, GPH14M, GPD14, GPG16M, and GPG14M

GMC Brand Units – 1-Year Unit Replacement Limited Warranty

Condensing units – VSZ14, VSX14, and VSX13
- 7-Year Compressor Limited Warranty + 7-Year Parts Limited Warranty
Gas furnaces – VMES96, VCEC96, VMES80 and VCES80
- 20-Year Heat Exchanger Limited Warranty + 7-Year Parts Limited Warranty
