2019 NYSERDA Geothermal Installation Rebates (Contractor Rebates)

Contractors in New York State, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has geothermal rebates for ground source heat pump installations. For assistance determining qualifying match-ups, use the AHRI site.

Rebates are capped at:

  • $15,000 for single family homes
  • $500,000 for a building
  • $1,000,000 for a site with multiple buildings
  • $7,500,000 per contractor

These rebates are available for NYSERDA-approved contractors. To apply to be an approved contractor, complete and submit the application. Program requirements are available here.
