Daikin Rolls Out New SplitXpress Features

Daikin has announced the addition of several valuable new features to the web and mobile SplitXpress apps. The new features are designed to enhance the equipment selection process and add value to the quote and report outputs generated by SplitXpress.

SplitXpress can be accessed on the web at https://splitxpress.daikincity.com, or via the SplitXpress mobile app available on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).

New Feature Summary:

Feature-Based Product Selection (Quick Reference Video)

  • Implemented in both website and mobile app
  • Selection process enhancement
  • Ideal for automatic equipment selections
  • Allows the user to choose equipment features, such as “intelligent eye,” and quickly confirm if the selected model supports the feature

Sharing Projects (Quick Reference Video)

  • Implemented in both website and mobile app
  • Collaboration enhancement
  • Projects can now be shared between users
  • The shared project is retained by the sender and a new copy is made for the recipient

Mechanical Schedule Generation (Quick Reference Video)

  • Implemented in both website and mobile app
  • Report enhancement
  • A mechanical schedule (like WebXpress) can be generated as a report
  • Web app will allow the user to generate an .xls file in the “Report” tab
  • Mobile apps will automatically include the schedule as an .xml file in the email output

Automatic Rebate Lookup (Quick Reference Video)

  • Implemented in mobile app
  • Improvement to the “Quote” step
  • Available rebates are populated according to the zip code and equipment models
  • Selected rebate amount is automatically subtracted from the quote total
  • All available rebates are summarized in the “Quote” report

System-Type Indication (Quick Reference Video)

  • Implemented in both website and mobile app
  • Selection process enhancement designed to reduce user error
  • Adds a visualization of the compatible system types for manually selected zone models
