Daikin Software Update to Intelligent Touch Manager (iTM)

Daikin has announced a software update to the intelligent Touch Manager (iTM), an advanced multi-zone controller that controls and monitors the Daikin VRV system.

What’s New to the V2.14 Software Update?

• Provides VRV EMERION heat pump system compatibility for use with operation data recording, BACnetTM server (DCM014A51), and D-NET service.
• Provides fan speed control improvement, compared to the previous version, with up to 5 control speeds; applicable to VRV units, such as FXEQ, that support 5 fan speeds.
• Provides reduced power consumption of the system by using the following user-selectable icon settings:
  • Indoor unit setpoint shift control
  • Indoor units forced thermo-off
  • Indoor unit on/off control
  • Outdoor units’ capacity demand limit control (compressor speed limit)

Software Compatibility:

• This software update is compatible with model (DCM601A71).
• This software update is compatible with model (DCM601B71).
• This software update is compatible with the new iTM preset tool.

This software update will only be issued if the requestor has been qualified to commission the iTM by attending the iTM Install and Commissioning class or has received onsite training and qualification by Daikin personnel.
