New Larger Capacity Daikin AURORA Single-Zone Systems
by HVAC Distributors January 30, 2020Daikin has announced the launch of new, larger capacity AURORA single-zone systems. This launch includes 18,000 and 24,000 BTU wall mount systems and 12,000, 18,000 and 24,000 BTU systems using the existing FDMQ ducted concealed indoor unit.
Daikin AURORA Systems are optimized to perform in extreme climates, delivering up to 100% rated heating capacity down to 5°F (-15°C) with confirmed, continuous operating down to -13°F (-25°C). For warmer climates, Daikin AURORA delivers up to 100% cooling capacity up to 104°F (40°C).
The 18,000 and 24,000 BTU wall mount units are new models which provide several features to enhance comfort and maximize efficiency including 3-D airflow, comfort airflow, and an intelligent eye. These features automatically adjust airflow based on mode, help circulate air throughout the room, and enter into an energy saving mode if the room has been unoccupied for 20 minutes. All AURORA single-zone systems come with a 12-Year Parts Limited Warranty*.

The wall mounted indoor unit includes a wireless I/R controller and is compatible with the optional
wireless interface adapter and Daikin Comfort Control App.
