PPL Utilities Residential Air Source Heat Pump Rebate Reduces to $200 Effective October 17

Effective October 17, the $1,200 PPL residential utility rebate on qualifying Air Source Heat Pumps  will reduce to its pre-2015 level of $200. Currently, 16 SEER and higher air source heat pumps qualify for the $1,200 rebate. The 15 SEER ASHP rebate expired May 31, 2015.

This change is a sales opportunity to use with homeowners who may be debating replacing their air-to-air ducted unit, since the current $1,200 rebate expires within 30 days (direct link to the ASHP rebate application for homeowners).

Ductless heat pump rebates remain unchanged, at up to $200/ton for qualifying units. HVAC Distributors has qualifying ductless heat pumps in stock (direct link to the ductless rebate application for homeowners).
